6 MOUNTHS IN JUVENTUS ACADEMY, 12. March 2012

For the last 6 months there have been 54 students (in four groups with 5 teacher-coaches) involved in Juventus Academy training in our school. Two of the teachers, Mateja Tajnik and Denis Divjak attended a one week seminar at Juventus University in Torino at the end of February, and all our trainers completed three training courses with the main JA coach, Mr. Christian Moccono.

The JA programme is running very well and students have developed a lot. The representatives of the JA, who have already made two evaluation visits, were very satisfied with our football school. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd of March, when two coaches from Torino will also lead two additional training sessions for our students.

In spring, when it becomes warmer, we are planning to organize friendly matches and two events for our students. Games and matches with young football players from Radomlje Foodball Club are planned in April; and we are also negotiating a visit to a school in Umag.

Events for students, professional development of teachers, evaluation visits and fees for 4 students are financed by the Moro Foundation, which supports the activities of JA.
